Design workshop, cooking and exchange of knowledge between potters and chefs

This was a 2012 experimental workshop organized around dialogue and creative collaboration between chefs, artisans and designers, led by the guest designer Cecilia Leon de la Barra, and Diego Mier y Teran, from Innovating Tradition.

The objective was to promote and put into practice a dynamic vision of ceramics. Through narrative design tools, we investigated the theme of food, exploring the relationship between gastronomy and pottery, what could one contribute to the other? How could they collaborate to renew themselves and to what extent could the change be beneficial? all this to create kitchen utensils using the special characteristics of clay.
