This first meeting in 2012 was organized by professors of design and ceramics from the UAM, with him Rural Development Studies Center (CESDER). We came from an invitation to present the book Fire and Clay, with Eric Mindling.
We traveled with several artisans and artisans, it was one of our first group trips. One of much learning and sharing the knowledge we have accumulated. This meeting was held San Miguel Tenextatiloyan, Puebla, and sought to offer a space for artisans to share their techniques with other communities in other states. All based on the idea that artisan work demands the creation of a space where artisans can freely share and learn from others.
