This first meeting in 2012<\/strong> was organized by professors of design and ceramics from the UAM<\/strong>, with him Rural Development Studies Center <\/strong>(CESDER)<\/a>. We came from an invitation to present the book Fire and Clay<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, with Eric Mindling<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We traveled with several artisans and artisans, it was one of our first group trips. One of much learning and sharing the knowledge we have accumulated. This meeting was held San Miguel Tenextatiloyan, Puebla<\/strong>, and sought to offer a space for artisans to share their techniques with other communities in other states. All based on the idea that artisan work demands the creation of a space where artisans can freely share and learn from others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este encuentro fue organizado por profesores de dise\u00f1o y cer\u00e1mica de la UAM, junto con el Centro de Estudios para el Desarrollo Rural (CESDER). Acudimos a partir de una invitaci\u00f3n para presentar el libro \"Barro y Fuego\", con Eric Mindling. Viajamos con varios artesanos, fue uno de nuestros primeros viajes en grupo. Un viaje de mucho aprendizaje y de compartir los saberes que hemos reflexionado. Tuvo como sede San Miguel Tenextatiloyan, Puebla. El encuentro busc\u00f3 ofrecer un espacio a las artesanas para compartir sus t\u00e9cnicas con otras comunidades en otros estados. Partiendo de la idea de que el trabajo artesanal demanda la creaci\u00f3n de un espacio en donde las artesanas puedan libremente compartir y aprender de otrxs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
